What does it check?
The platform (WordPress, Shopify, Wix and more), the WordPress theme and plugins, analytics and advertising tools, chat and booking tools, server and CDN, HTTPS, when the SSL certificate ends, speed, the mobile tag, structured data, Open Graph tags and security headers.
What is the need score?
A number from 0 to 100. The more problems and missing basics it finds (for example an SSL certificate that ends soon, or no analytics), the higher it is. It tells you who to contact first. It is not a judgement of the business.
Does it test security or scan the site?
No. It reads only what any visitor can read. It does not scan ports and does not test for vulnerabilities. It only reports the public security headers.
How much does it cost?
New accounts get free starting credits. One website checked uses one credit. The price for more credits is not set yet and will be announced before the public launch.
Is it allowed?
It reads public pages. When you contact a business, say who you are, let them opt out and follow the laws that apply to you (for example GDPR, PECR and CAN-SPAM). Do not use it for spam.
