Preview how your page looks in Google.
Type a title, URL and meta description and see an approximate Google result for desktop and mobile, with length and pixel checks. It runs in your browser, so nothing is sent or stored.
Build your snippet
Edit the fields and watch the preview update. Then copy the finished HTML tags into your page.
This is an approximation. Google decides what to show and may rewrite titles and descriptions, so use it as a guide, not a guarantee.
What the snippet preview checks.
These are the basics that decide whether your result looks clear and gets clicked.
Title length and width
Character count and approximate pixel width, because Google shortens titles by width, not by characters.
- Characters and pixels
- Cut-off warning
- Short title warning
Meta description length
A guide of about 70 to 160 characters, so your summary is not cut off or too thin.
- Character count
- Too short and too long
- Missing description
Desktop and mobile view
See the same snippet in a wide desktop result and a narrower mobile one.
- Desktop preview
- Mobile preview
- Copy HTML tags

SERP Snippet Preview FAQ
Common questions about this tool and what the results mean.
Ask us about your resultsIs the preview exactly what Google will show?
No. It is an approximation. Google decides what to display and may rewrite titles and descriptions, so use it as a guide.
Is there an official character limit?
Google has no fixed limit. Titles are shortened by width, roughly 600 pixels on desktop, so we show pixels as well as characters. About 50 to 60 characters is a sensible target.
Does the tool store what I type?
No. It runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing to our server.
Does a good snippet improve rankings?
A clear title and description help people choose your result, which can improve clicks. They are not a guaranteed ranking boost.
How do I check my live page?
Use our Title Tag Checker to read the title and description from any live URL.
