Local Rank Grid.
Enter a business, a city and a keyword. We search Google's local results from a grid of points around the business and show where it ranks at each point as a colour heatmap, with an average rank and a visibility score.
What you get.
One row for every point on the grid. This is an example with sample data.
| Point | Rank | Status |
|---|---|---|
| R3C3 (centre) | 1 | top 3 |
| R1C2 | 4 | top 10 |
| R1C1 | 20+ | not found |
Three steps.
Enter the business
Its name, the city and the keyword a customer would search.
Pick the grid
3 x 3, 5 x 5 or 7 x 7 points, and the distance between them.
Open the heatmap
Green is rank 1 to 3, orange 4 to 10, red 11 to 20. Save it as a PDF for your client.
Pay per point.
One point uses one credit. New accounts get free starting credits. The price for more credits will be announced before the public launch.
Uses Google's official Places API. Results approximate what searchers see.

How does it work?
It finds the business on Google, builds a grid of points around it, and at each point asks Google's Places API for the top 20 places for your keyword. The business's position in that list is its rank there.
Is it the same as the Maps app?
It is close, not identical. Google's Places API approximates what a person at that point sees, so a result can differ a little. Rank beyond 20 shows as 20+.
What does the visibility score mean?
A number from 0 to 100. Rank 1 counts as full, rank 20 as almost nothing, and a point where the business is missing as zero.
Can I show progress to a client?
Yes. Run the same scan again after your work and compare the two heatmaps and scores.
How much does it cost?
New accounts get free starting credits. One grid point uses one credit, so a 5 x 5 grid uses 25. The price for more credits is not set yet.
